Alzheimer’s disease is an irreversible, progressive brain disorder that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills and eventually, the ability to carry out the simplest tasks. Although treatment can help manage symptoms in some people, currently there is no cure for this devastating disease.
Everyone involved with Angels Against Alzheimer’s has been impacted by this disease in some way. We have all lost loved ones and it is extremely difficult to watch them suffer from this devastating disease, not remembering who they are, who their family is or anything about the world surrounding them.
We have created an event, Masked till Midnight, to be held April 7, 2018, at the Norris Penrose Event Center. We want to raise money to help fund research and support local Alzheimer’s patients and their families. It will be a masquerade ball with food and beverages, casino setup, raise the paddle and dancing till midnight!
